Most adults walk in carrying the same two worries: am I too old, and have I already wasted my shot? The answer to both is no, and the second one is the more useful conversation. If you’ve owned a guitar for fifteen years and can play four chords. That isn’t a talent ceiling. It’s what happens when nobody tells you which hours matter.

These lessons are built for people with jobs. Weekly or biweekly, 50 or 30 minutes, evenings available, month-to-month with no contract. The curriculum is sequenced rather than fixed: ear training, applied music theory, rhythm pocket, repertoire building, and performance, layered in an order that builds, but bent around the music you actually want to play.

Applied Theory, Not Homework

The part students notice first is the theory. It gets taught and used in the same lesson, on the song already in front of you. Learn how a chord progression works, then immediately hear why the song you brought in does what it does. That’s the difference between memorising the shape of a barre chord and understanding chord voicings well enough to find one anywhere on the neck.

Over the first few months that usually covers fretboard visualization past the first position, playing by ear well enough to pull a part off a recording, and the muscle memory work that makes chord changes stop being a stall. Improvisation and learning songs from recordings come in as soon as there’s a foundation to hang them on.

Practising with a busy schedule is its own skill. Twenty focused minutes on a specific task will outrun an unfocused hour every time, which is why every lesson ends with a detailed written recap naming exactly what to work on. Remote students get a video recap as well.
